Nigerian Singer, Buju Changes Stage Name To “BNXN”

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Daniel Benson, who is professionally known as Buju, has officially changed his stage name to BNXN. (Pronounced “Benson”).

The fast-rising and former “On a Spaceship Ent” artiste took to his official Twitter page to announce the change, while also noting that his new name would be pronounced as ‘Benson’.

In the video announcement he shared on Thursday night, the name change became a necessity due to some copyright issues after the singer was mistaken for another Jamaican singer known as Buju Banton.

His tweet reads; “It’s no longer ‘Buju’. Call me ‘Benson’ written as ‘BNXN’.”
