Ogun State Police Command has apprehended a landlord, identified as Bola Tobiloba, for allegedly sexually assaulting his 14-year-old tenant in his compound located in the Arinlese area of Abeokuta, the state capital.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, the incident occurred on September 13, 2024, and was reported to the Adatan Police Division by the victim's father at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Upon investigation, officers discovered bloodstains at the scene and on the victim's clothing, indicating severe physical harm. The survivor sustained significant injuries, including a tear in her private area, resulting in bleeding. The police promptly responded, providing medical attention to the victim.
Bola Tobiloba is currently in custody and will face the full weight of the law for his alleged heinous crime. SP Odutola emphasized that the Ogun State Police Command takes cases of sexual violence seriously and will ensure justice is served.
